Eid Al-Fitri 2011.

This is a quick update .

I miss being stuck like sardine in the car for almost 10 hours.  A long journey from Kota Bharu-Terengganu ( hv forgot the place) – Kuantan- Mersing – Kota Tinggi – Batu Pahat – Kluang – Mersing – Kuantan – Terengganu – Kota Bharu. Pergi balik dalam 20+ hours . Yeah , just for Hari Raya . I used to stay in Kota Bharu, more specific in Pengkalan Chepa for couple of years because my dad used to work there.  And now, here we are – Mersing :) Lepas ni tak tau lah pindah mana lagi .

For Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2011 , I made two type of cookies. Nescafe cookies and Chocolate Chip cookies . Nasib baik jadi. Sempat buat untuk bawak balik ke kampung - dua balang untuk nenek and dua lagi untuk Yayi ( this is what we called for grandpa in Java language. Melayunya – Jawa. Yes, proud to say that I’m a Javanese). Tak larat nak buat banyak-banyak. Semua tu pun kira-kira dalam 500 biji. Banyak jugak la kan for a beginner like me. Hee:)

Before that, I’ve tried to make Blueberry cheese tart and the result is – wallah ! Jadi! Habis kejap je . And that cheese tart paling banyak dimakan oleh my brother which I called him Angah. Haaa, lepas tu dia boleh request nak cheese cake pulak. InsyaAllah, will try to do it. Recipe pun dah google and ada mintak jugak dari my best friend :)

Malam raya baru pulang ke kampung nenek belah ummi dekat Batu Pahat. Raya kedua baru lah ke kampung belah ayah dekat Kota Tinggi. Kampung husband? Lambat lagi. Haha. Well, tak sabar rasanya nak jumpa my two adorable angels. They are gonna spend their first raya dekat rumah nenek. Auntie kesayangan pun dekat sana. Just yang sedihnya, cousin-cousin perempuan kesayangan beraya dekat kampung atuk mereka dulu. Tak dapat lah kumpul ramai-ramai. But it’s okay. Dapat menyambut hari mulia ni disamping keluarga dan orang-orang tersayang is more than enough. Dapat salam dan cium tangan ummi ayah tu yang penting. So pretty girlfriends and handsome boyfriends, I wish you all Happy Eid Al-Fitri. Thousand apologies for all my words and wrongdoings. Enjoy your raya with your beloved family and friends. The most important thing is safety first! Drive carefully. Ohh not to forget, Selamat Menyambut Hari Merdeka yang ke-54 :)
